If you’ll ask my friends to describe what I like in 3 words, they’ll no doubt say stripes, puppies and food. I love cooking food, and I like eating food even more! And now I have found shopping for food much more enjoyable thanks to lovely and sort-of local Honest2Goodness farmers market in Glasnevin.

I well remember my first impression of Dublin some 15 years ago while walking all the way by the Guinness Factory along the River Liffey towards the city centre: quiet and relaxed.
Here and there a lonely pedestrian passing by, a few cars in the rush (yes, they were moving back then) and the seagulls, so many seagulls. They flew back and forth, sometimes with the impression they’ll touch your shoulder - so unafraid and used to people they were. One of my first jobs when I moved to Ireland was in an office in Merrion Square. Since then I do love to go for a stroll around my ‘old grounds’. Let me take you on a small walk around Dublin 2.
